Shakespeare on the Commons

Every summer, a nearby theater offers free performances of a Shakespeare play within the Boston Commons for a couple weeks during the summer. This year, the selected play was A Midsummer Night's Dream. Chris and I drove into Boston last night for the 8:00 performance and stumbled across great seats (people sit on the ground) not too far back. We lugged a couple blankets and some snacks and watched the performance, which was excellent and funnier than I remembered from reading the play. The first picture below shows a scene with Oberon, Titania and the fairies, and the next shows the "play within the play" being enacted.
