Friday night I picked Chris up from the subway at Harvard Square. Since he works downtown, he can sometime walk around the city on his lunch break. When Chris got into the car, he had a couple bags in his hands, one of which held a "surprise" for me. He had purchased a five pound pummelo (a sweeter form of grapefruit) at a local Asian market! We ate half for supper - it was wonderful.

Chris and I played racquetball at the gym yesterday morning after a break of several months - it was fun to play a competitive sport since we usually run for exercise. We watched Gone, Baby, Gone at the Belmont Cinema last night - the plot of the movie left us with something to talk about on the ride home. The movie is based on a book by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote the book that sparked the movie Mystic River. It's interesting to think about the flexibility of the legal system and how to overlay our own ethics upon it, especially where right and wrong have not been clearly defined. Has anyone else seen the movie?

Not much else is new - we're both looking forward to heading to Indiana and Minnesota for Christmas and New Year's. Here's me with my pummelo.
