Burlington, Vermont

Deciding we needed a mid-January trip, Chris and I woke up early Saturday morning and drove three hours northwest to Burlington, Vermont. We spent the day browsing shops along Church Street, sampling sharp Vermont cheeses and even stopped at the Magic Hat brewery for a quick tour. We were astonished how genuinely nice people seemed - cars stopped for pedestrians, restaurant staff recommended great meals, and strangers stopped to pet the gaggles of dogs leashed to their owners. Sunday morning, we walked along the shoreline of Lake Champlain and stopped at Ben and Jerry's (ice cream) headquarters about a half hour south of the city. We took the tour and sampled Chunky Monkey and Pumpkin Cheesecake ice creams.

Hey girl,
Check out the links on my blog. Coach & Amy High are on there now, as are Brad & Beth Modaff. :) Their kids are so cute.
