Puerto Rico 2017

Chris and I spent four days in Puerto Rico with two other couple friends from our small group at church. We booked a three bedroom Airbnb condo in Candado and spent our days on the beach and in the La Concha resort pool. We watched a flamenco show in Old San Juan one night, ate great meals, and spent hours sitting on steps watching the locals salsa dance in La Placita while we drank fantastic mojitos. One day we split up: three people snorkeled, two watched a cock (rooster) fight and I went shopping for jewelry and an art print. The trip was a ton of fun: no horrible sunburns, lots of lounge time and plenty of chips and guacamole.

Brian brought his shark paddle board with him everywhere, even to breakfast.

Rhonda and Bobbi drove up in advance of our trip and watched the girls at our house. I loved getting Rhonda's texts with pictures of the girls. Fiona made 30 Valentines for her class party one day, and the girls also spent time with Mike who flew up for a few days and with their cousins and Allison and Rob who spent an evening with the girls. Chris and I are very grateful for the chance to get away and leave the girls in such fun hands.
